Create your organization and sign in
CoverQueue is organized around a single unit: your organization. It holds your submission log, your writers, your coverage, and your team. The first time you sign in, onboarding walks you through creating one. It takes a couple of minutes and no credit card.
Name your organization
Onboarding's first step asks for your organization's name. That name (and the slug derived from it) shapes your unique email-in intake address, and your logo (added later in Settings) appears on coverage PDFs and share pages. Pick the name your team and outside recipients will recognize.
You can rename the org later from Settings → Organization. The intake address doesn't change when you rename.
Your 14-day trial
Every new organization starts on a 14-day, full-featured trial: the complete Team experience, with no card required. An unobtrusive banner shows the days remaining and links to the Plans screen. When the trial ends you can pick a plan or continue on the Free tier; nothing is deleted either way.
Signing in
CoverQueue uses magic-link sign-in. Enter your email and we send a one-time link. There's no password to remember.
1. Go to the login page and enter your email
2. Open the email and click the sign-in link
3. You land in your organization
If you were invited to an existing org, sign in with the same email address the invite was sent to so you land in the right place. People who belong to more than one org can switch between them from the org switcher in the top bar.
Common questions
Do I need a credit card to start? No. The trial runs on trial_ends_at inside the app, not on a card.
I didn't get my magic link. Check spam, then request a new one. You can resend after a short cooldown. Links expire, so use the most recent email.
Can I belong to more than one organization? Yes. Multi-org users get an org switcher in the top bar.
